| 1. On 9 December 2017, the Tribunal received an Application filed by the Applicant against the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (Bank). |
| 2. By email dated 28 June 2018, the Applicant notified the Tribunal of his consent to a "Mutually Agreed Early Out Separation: Resignation" (Agreement). Under the terms of the Agreement, the Applicant agreed to "fully and finally settle and release all claims [the Applicant] might otherwise have against the Bank Group concerning [the Applicant’s] separation or otherwise arising out of circumstances occurring or decisions taken on or before the date of [the Applicant’s] acceptance." |
| 3. In a letter to the Tribunal dated 29 August 2018, the Bank requested the Application be dismissed because, under the terms of the Agreement, the Applicant had agreed to release any claims "that may have arisen prior to the date of [the] Applicant’s acceptance of the agreement." The request was accompanied by the signed Agreement between the Applicant and the Bank. |
| 4. On the basis of the settlement of the claims between the Bank and the Applicant, the Tribunal deems it appropriate to dismiss this case. |
| 5. The Tribunal grants the Applicant anonymity. DECISION The Application is dismissed. |
